Boost Valve

At or around 25 pounds of boost the PCM will detect an overboost and set off the SES service engine soon light. When this happens the PCM will defuel the engine to get the boost down and the SES light will come on for a couple minutes. The Boost Relief Valve is put inline with MAP sensor and will blow off at 20 pounds of boost the relief valve will open up and the PCM via the map sensor will not read an over boost. I installed this for the future when I get a programmer or chip and believe it or not I had the overboost code thrown not to long after I put in my intake setup. Jeff brought his code reader over and sure enough it was an overboost. It happened at WOT going up a hill at around 80 MPH. I went to the same place and did the same thing after installing the valve and didnt get the code. I got mine at www.dieselsite.com they have a new style out now that has connections for a boost gauge, I should have waited to get mine.

Very simple to install. Just cut the line from the intake to the MAP sensor and put it inline with the arrow pointing to the MAP.
