There are 4 screws at the top of the grille that come out. Then use a long flat screwdriver to undo the 4 clips at the bottom. Slide the screw driver between the bumper and grille to get them.

The grille will come right out after the bottom clip’s are undone.

The Excursion grilles have snap out sections so installing a billet grille is much easier with them. They do not require the cutting that other grilles do. Once again do to witness protection policies Jeff’s face can not be shown

The difference, X top, Super Duty bottom. The emblem snaps out and back in. Be careful the plastic tabs can break. If they do then just  use some epoxy or silicon to mount the emblem.

Put the grille back into place and snap the lower clips in and put the screws back in. The black and chrome of the Super Duty grille looks good better with the black emblems and matches the black and chrome look I’m going for.
