HPOP Cover

When I changed the fuel filter for the first time both of the mounting studs that the black plastic hpop cover go to snapped off. I figured, Oh well, its just in the way so I left it. I was on Ebaymotors and found the coolest replacement covers. They come in either polished aluminum diamond plate or 304 brushed stainless steel. I ordered one up and it showed up on my door a few days later in a nice box of packing peanuts. Pictures don not do it justice, this is a beautiful well made cover with all the hardware and mounting bracke, along with nice easy to read instructions.


		The instructions for mounting the cover require that the mounting studs be cut off shorter. If you snap them off like I did then that step can be skipped.

	A quick test fit showed that there was just the right amount to get the nuts and lock washers that came with the cover mounting hard ware on the studs

	We used LocTite on the studs along with lock washers to keep the nuts from vibrating loose. The bracket is very well made with threaded inserts for the cover. The cover is held in using chrome allen head bolts and lock washers.

	Here is the money shot, that is SEXY! There was a lot detail and work put into this with all the right cut outs and shapes to fit the engine perfect. Plus there is still room for fuel crossover setups. If you want some bling for that 7.3 then this is the best way to go
